Our Special Lion - Howard Marshall -no 42

As noted elsewhere there is now a great deal of interest in Howard Marshall as the club has been given a plaque in his memory by the British Lions. He was Ashbrooke born and bred and a super star of English rugby in the 1890s - in fact, as I argue in my online book, he was ground breaking in terms of the development of rugby football. If interested go to the article I wrote for the RFU in 2021 -

And /or you can purchase the online book for £6 with £3 going to Ashbrooke as a registered charity
