REMEMBRANCE

It was a moving occasion on Saturday when the poppy wreath was placed in front of the Last Stand at Ashbrooke before the 1st XV game against Acklam. Fot those who do not know, the stand has a large plaque on it with the names of club members who gave their lives in the two World Wars of the last century as well as those of dedicated former club members we wish to remember. If any players would like a copy of my online book which covers all those who died - and especially rugby and cricket players - just contact me at keith.gregson@talk21.com . For those who play (or have played) rugby you will be able to see what happened to lads who played in your own position.
